Ronald L. Caughey
Ronald L. Caughey, aka. Mr. C, died January 31, 2010.
A memorial service will be Feb. 5 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Tacoma, WA., rosary 1:30 pm, service 2pm, memorial reception following.
Ron was born August 3, 1940, in Los Angeles, CA to Eugene and Audrey (Walker) Caughey (McDaniel). He grew up in Los Angeles, CA and graduated from California High School. He married Kathleen Conchis on January 13, 1968 in Las Vegas, NV. Ron dedicated his life to service. He served as a Reserve Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff. He was a Boy Scout and recognized scout leader for over 39 years. Additionally, Ron served the wider Pierce County community through various boards and panels.
Survivors include his wife Kathleen; stepfather Harry McDaniel of Puyallup, WA; a son: Marc and wife Ann of Tacoma, WA; two daughters: Teresa of Flagstaff, AZ and, SueAnn and husband Kwame Eason of East Palo Alto, CA; four grandchildren: Jeremiah, Sarah, Ezekiel, and Naomi; one brother: Curtis and wife Kelly, of Dayton, OH.
