Inez Lindsay Waldrop Our awesome mom passed away June 4, 2010 in her home at age 93. Mom was born February 6, 1917 to Buck and Hallie Lindsay in Pecos, TX. The oldest of 6 children, she was raised in Arizona and New Mexico. She attended Nurses Training in El Paso, TX. She met and married the love of her life Mel Waldrop in 1947. They traveled the world together as a military family, living in Japan and then Germany for two tours. While in Europe they traveled to every country they could get to. They were both lovers of history and new places. They raised 3 sons and 1 daughter together. Inez was preceded in death by her husband Mel in 2004 and her son Dwayne in 2009. She is survived by sons; Keith Waldrop, Mark Waldrop (Debra), daughter; Lorie Staab (Randy), daughter-in-law; Judy Waldrop(Dwayne), Granddaughters; Lindsay Waldrop, Naomi Hilliker (Jason), Kimberly Fulmer (Rudy), and Kalan Waldrop, grandsons; Jason Waldrop, Marcus Waldrop and Jake Staab. Inez enjoyed her 6 great grandchildren and was looking forward to the new one coming in the fall. She is also survived by her sister Larree Peevy of Arizona, best and oldest friends Ardele and Neil Keith of El Paso, Texas and many, many loving nephews and nieces whom she adored. Services will be held Monday June 14, 2010 at 11am at the Week's Dryers Mortuary 220 134th street S., Tacoma, WA. Graveside to follow at Tahoma National Cemetery, Covington , WA. Viewing is on Sunday June 13 at Week's Dryer Mortuary 3 – 7pm.
