Joseph Thomas Sklar Began his notable legacy on March 15, 1931 in Morann, PA. After living a wonderful life, he went to be with the Lord on July 22, 2010, at Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, WA. He enlisted in the US Air Force at the age of 20 and served 20 dedicated years as an Air Traffic Controller. Joe married his bride Joanne, on May 31, 1958 and they began their victorious journey together. After moving around the country for various military assignments, Joe finally settled his family in Puyallup, WA to continue their life adventure together. After retiring from the military, Joe worked as an office manager at Streich Brothers, Inc. He was a caring husband, father and grandfather. Joe is succeeded by his wife (Joanne), daughter and son-in-law (Andrea and Norm), and granddaughter (Alexandria). He loved his family dearly and dedicated his life to them. Joe enjoyed getting to know new people and was always interested in their lives. He was a friend to many and gladly welcomed them into his world. Services will be held at Overcomer Covenant Church in Auburn on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 1PM with viewing beginning at 11:30AM. All friends and family are invited.
