Guestbook for Barry E. Wills Showing 1 - 23 of 23 entries.

Barry was such a fine colleague! I worked with him the year he was a student teacher at Evergreen Heights. He truly loved to learn and life was his classroom. His enthusiasm and joy were contagious. He made life fun, but always kept the bigger picture of its meaning in view. He was bigger than life, a true philosopher. Heaven is now his home. John and I loved him and will miss him.

Dear Dolly, Eric, David and Kevin,
We were so sorry to hear of Barry's passing. He was a great guy and I know he will be greatly missed here, but I also know we will be seeing him again in heaven. Meanwhile, you are all in our prayers,

Dolly, Erik, David and Kevin,
We are just unbelieving of this news. Barry was the finest of men. You know we will always think of him as a true friend in need. He was a great blessing to our sons, a mentor and role model. One day we will all join him, and our Mark, for a Grand Camping Trip. Until then we will keep you in our prayers. Life is hard, but God is good.

Dolly & Family,

We were sorry to hear about Barry's passing. His leadership in scouting helped so many boys, including our son Derek, to grow up to be fine men. In fact Derek comments often how much his scouting experiences helps him even today in his service to our country in the U.S. Army.

Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss.

Barry was such a pleasant and happy man and when I would be over at Irene's, I enjoyed our conversation so much. He will be missed so much and he won't be forgotten. I pray the angels will surround Irene and his family and surround them with the peace only God can give. My love and prayers, Marlene

Mr. WIlls was one of my teachers during my 6th and 7th grade years between 1999 and 2001. He was a wonderful educator who had an immense heart for his students. He always had a funny story to share with us, whether it was from his childhood or about the squirrel he and his family rescued outside their home (he had us build webpages about the squirrel!).

He oversaw an extracurricular team I was a part of that participated in a program called Wild Blue Wonders, which was put on by the EAA. Mr. Wills helped me and my teammates gain a great deal of knowledge of both military and civilian aircraft. Under his direction we competed at the Museum of Flight in Seattle, and performed very well!

Mr. Wills, thank you for your honorable service of our nation in the Navy and for your many years of service to the students of Auburn. The impact you made on so many lives is immense and your tireless work did not go unnoticed. Thank you for pushing me to do my absolute best in all of my work.

Incredibly sad news that Mr. Wills has passed. He was my teacher in 2003, and I will never forget the assembly where he played Taps on the cornet.

I will always remember Mr. Wills as the crazy yet lovable 6th grade teacher from Cascade Middle School. My greatest memories were building these huge bio-cells in our cafeteria, building Scale models of the school out of cardboard, and of course, our week of flight. Thanks Mr. Wills.

I had Mr Wills as my 7th grade teacher in 2000. He was a great guy and loved his stories. Best memory was watching Murder on the Orient Express. He had us watch it before christmas break but made us wait till after break to see the end!

As with Jay, Kevin, Lou, and Melissa, Mr. Wills was my 3rd grade teacher in 1977. What a wonderful man! I've thought about Mr. Wills throughout the years and was thrilled when he connected with me on Facebook just this last September!!! As Jay has said, a little bit of my childhood has passed with him. An infectious laugh and beaming smile...... Mr. Wills, you most certainly left your mark on this world! May you forever rest in peace. God Bless.

Barry taught my 3rd and 6th grade classes at Terminal Park. He is one of only a few teachers that I feel influenced me to a great extent. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing and extend my condolences and best wishes to his family.
